Tirtouga is a Generation V Water/Rock-type Fossil Pokemon Pokemon that appears in Pokemon Black and White. Tirtouga can be revived from the Cover Fossil. It evolves into Carracosta at level 37. It is based on the prehistoric sea turtle Archelon.
Trivia
- Tirtouga is the fifth prehistoric Water-Rock Type Pokemon, the other Pokemon being Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, and Omastar.
- The name "Tirtouga" may be based off of the words "turtle" and the Caribbean island of Tortuga
