I'm not sure how much of this template has been updated for Generation VI, but can we make sure it's completely ready for Generation VI before it comes out in about a month? Also, when I try using the math tag, I seem to get the error:

Failed to parse (PNG conversion failed; check for correct installation of latex and dvipng (or dvips + gs + convert)): Mega Venusaur

When looking into the media wiki error troubleshooting I couldn't find anything that I myself could possibly fix or realize that I was doing wrong, as all they suggested were file editing/fixing. What is the cause of this error? Thanks! Rahfal (talk) 22:32, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

I think I just need to fit the Kalos dex into the template, other than that, I think the template is up to date. The math tags are sort of touchy, I'm not really sure how you get around the space, I don't use the math tags that often. – Crimsonnavy T  S  22:56, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
Ok, cool (about the kalos dex)! It's not only spacing, it also is if you add anything that isn't already part of it's "dictionary." Like '????' gives the error, but '???' does not. Also, if you add even one character to an already existing Pokémon's math tag, you get an error. If you try to create just <math>a</math> you get an error. Is there by chance, somewhere, a list of pre-defined strings that it filters through first before processing? Rahfal (talk) 23:02, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
I don't know if there is a list like that, if you don't find it, I can ask a staff member on Skype. – Crimsonnavy T  S  04:45, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
Can you ask a staff member about this problem, since X and Y are coming out tomorrow? Thanks! Rahfal (talk) 17:04, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
I think previously-generated ones are working because the images are cached, but some kind of misconfiguration is preventing new ones from being generated. I've passed this up to the dev team, asking them to verify the configuration. Eyes Personal Image - Eyes.png 18:28, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
Didn't think it'd be a caching issue, that's interesting and makes sense. Thanks for looking into the matter Eyes!
Everything seems to be working now, thanks for getting it straightened out! :) Rahfal (talk) 19:31, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
