Magmortar (ブーバーン Booburn) is a Fire-type Pokémon, the evolved form of Magmar and the final evolutionary form of Magby.

Magmar evolves into Magmortar when it is traded while holding the Magmarizer item.

Appearance

Magmortar looks alot like Magmar, but it grew bigger and developed cannons on the ends of it's arms. It can make it's entire body catch on fire when using moves like Fire Punch.

Games

Magmortar is a Generation IV Pokémon, first appearing in the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games. Its pre-evolved form Magmar is a Generation I Pokémon, meaning that it is not possible for Magmar to evolve unless it is in a Generation IV or higher, as Magmortar did not exist in the previous games.
