A King's Rock is an item introduced in Generation II that allows Poliwhirl to evolve into Politoed and causes Slowpoke to evolve into Slowking when traded. This item also raises chance of causing opponents to flinch by 11.7% with most attacks without secondary effects.
Ways to Obtain[]
- In Slowpoke Well, and it can sometimes be held by wild Slowpokes in the Generation II games.
- Obtained via Pickup, at Mossdeep City, or held by wild Hariyamas in Generation III games.
- In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, this item can be found in the Sevault Canyon, can be held by wild Slowpokes, or it can be a Trainer Tower prize.
- In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, this item is at the Pokéathlon Dome on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays as a prize if the player's Pokémon won a specific competition, in the Slowpoke Well, or it can be held by wild Slowbros and Poliwhirls.
- Mewtwo holds this item in the event for Pokémon Black and White.
- In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, you can show a Pokémon that has been trained 99 levels to the man inside the Pokémon Fan Club at Icirrus City.
