Incenses are held items introduced in Generation III. If held by a specific Pokémon and bred with a compatible Pokémon, the Pokémon will produce an egg, holding a baby Pokémon introduced within Generation III or so. In addition, Pokémon will also receive an extra effect during a battle.
The Full Incense will make the Pokémon move last, even if Trick Room is in effect. If held by Snorlax and bred with a compatible parent, they will produce the Normal-type Pokémon Munchlax.
The Lax Incense will increase the holder's evasion by 5%. When held by Wobbuffet and bred with a compatible parent, they will produce the Psychic-type Pokémon Wynaut.
The Luck Incense will double the prize money when the holder joins in a trainer battle. When held by Chansey or Blissey and bred with a compatible parent, they will produce the Normal-type Pokémon Happiny.
The Odd Incense will boost the power of any Psychic-type moves by 20%. If held by Mr. Mime and bred with a compatible parent, they will produce the Psychic-type Pokémon Mime Jr..
The Pure Incense repels any Pokémon of a lower level than the holder if the holder is the first one in the party. If held by Chimecho and bred with a compatible parent, they will produce the Psychic-type Pokémon Chingling.
The Rock Incense will boost the power of Rock-type moves by 20%. If held by Sudowoodo and bred with a compatible parent, they will produce the Rock-type Pokémon Bonsly.
The Rose Incense will boost the power of Grass-type moves by 20%. If held by Roselia or Roserade and bred with a compatible parent, they will produce the Grass/Poison-type Pokémon Budew.
The Sea Incense boosts any Water-type moves by 20%. If held by Marill or Azumarill and bred with a compatible parent, they will produce the Normal-type Pokémon Azurill.
The Wave Incense will boost the power of Water-type moves by 20%. If held by Mantine and bred with a compatible parent, they produce the Water/Flying-type Pokémon Mantyke.
