A Gentleman is a Trainer Class, introduced in Generation I, making this the oldest (literally) class. They are old men wearing fancy suits where in some versions, they hold a cane. They use Pokémon you can consider as pets. Their female counterpart is a Socialite. They are the much older version of Rich Boys, making them give out huge amounts of money when defeated.
