To get one in Red and Blue, it can be found on routes 16, 17, 18, and the Safari Zone

To get one in Yellow, it can be found on routes 16, 17, and 18.

To get one in Gold, Silver, and Crystal, it can be found routes 22, 26, 27, 28, and outside out Mt. Silver.

To get one in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, it can be found at the Safari Zone Entrance.

To get one in Colosseum, and XD, it needs to be traded from either Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen.

To get one in FireRed and LeafGreen, it can be found on routes 16, 17, 18, and the Safari Zone.

To get one in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, it can be found on routes 201, in swarms.

Trivia

  • Doduo cannot fly away. Strangely, it can still learn the HM Fly.
  • It's name comes from Dodo an exitinct flightless bird and duo which means two.
