BubbleBeam, originally named BubbleBeam until Generation VI, is a damaging Water-type move. The Pokémon shoots lots of bubbles at the opponent, dealing mild damage. It's difference is not much known yet from the similar attack, bubble. Only the name, how much damage it causes and how many bubbles during the attack are the only known difference. Piplup can learn the move once it has evolved into Prinplup. In Pokémon Red, Blue Green, and Yellow, Leader Misty will get you the TM11 for Bubblebeam. Just like Bubble, It will have a 10% chance of lowering the target's speed by 1 stage if it hits.
