BW102: A Village Homecoming! (アイリス、竜の里へ帰る！) is the 759th episode of the Pokémon anime series. This episode features Iris' return to her hometown, the Village of Dragons.

Episode Plot[]

Continuing on to Vertress City, site of the Unova League, Iris suggests that they stop off at her hometown, the Village of Dragons. There, Iris reunites with her old friend, Shannon and meets with the village elder to have her Axew's progress checked. Despite Axew having not evolved yet, the elder states to Iris that Axew has visibly been strengthened, much to Iris' delight. Upon going outside, Iris calls out Dragonite for the elder. Dragonite soon sees a resting Haxorus and picks a fight with it. Iris loses control but the elder breaks up the fight by touching them and calms Dragonite down.

The gangs visits with Shannon, who introduces the gang to the two Zweilous she is taking care of, who think of each other as siblings. Shannon also notes that the older one isn't feeling well. During lunch, one of the Zweilous in Shannon's care comes in, distraught. The gang rushes outside to see the other Zweilous evolve. Shannon is at first happy until the new Hydreigon goes on a rampage, startled by the evolution. Iris resolves to help calm it and calls all of her Pokémon out for help. Using her Pokémon to herd it into a corner, she jumps onto the Brutal Pokémon's back. The elder and shadowy person watch as Iris calms the rampaging Pokémon with her touch like the elder did earlier.

With Hydreigon calmed, it is reunited with its sibling and everyone rejoices. The person watching before appears and reveals himself to be the Opelucid City Gym Leader, Drayden, who then proceeds to challenge Iris to a battle.
