Archen is a Generation V Fossil Pokemon that first appeared in Pokemon Black and White. Archen is Rock-Flying Type and is based off of an Archaeopteryx. It evolves into Archeops starting at level 37. It can be revived from a Plume Fossil.
Appearance
Archen's is a red, yellow, and blue feathered bird with a large beak, 3-taloned feet and a blue tail.
Trivia
- Archen is one of three fossil Pokemon that is also a bird, along with Aerodactyl and Archeops.
- Archen is also one of five fossil Pokemon that start with the letter "A", along with Anorith, Armaldo, and yet again, Aerodactyl and Archeops.
- Archen is based on Archaeopteryx, the first bird animal known, since it has claws on its wings.
